At Orqa, we’re building technology that allows humans and machines to see the world like never before. We bring together engineers, creators, and innovators who push the boundaries of what’s possible – from cutting-edge FPV systems to advanced Remote Reality solutions, and toward the next generation of robotics. And behind every great technology, there’s great organization.
We’re looking for a Web QA Engineer to take ownership of our web test automation architecture and software quality processes.
In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of manual rigor and automated precision, collaborating closely with software engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers in an Agile environment. You will design scalable web automation frameworks, validate backend REST APIs, and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and high-quality web releases across our software ecosystem.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design, build, and maintain scalable web automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) and perform manual functional, regression, and UI/UX testing across multiple browsers and responsive views
Validate backend services and RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Bruno, or automated API testing scripts
Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases, logging and tracking bugs to resolution using tools like ClickUp
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD deployment pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) to enable continuous testing
Perform basic web performance audits (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals) and load testing (JMeter, k6)
Champion quality best practices throughout the SDLC, conducting thorough regression cycles and exploratory testing to uncover edge-case defects
WHAT WE EXPECT
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
Solid understanding of QA principles, test design techniques, boundary value analysis, and end-to-end SDLC in Agile/Scrum environments
Hands-on experience with modern web automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium) and proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java
Solid understanding of web technologies: HTTP protocols, REST APIs, JSON, HTML5, CSS, Browser DevTools debugging, and cross-browser testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack)
Practical experience with bug-tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp, Confluence) and version control (Git) integrated with CI/CD deployment pipelines
Exceptional analytical skills, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive mindset toward defect prevention and root-cause analysis
Excellent written and spoken English skills with strong collaborative traits
