At Orqa, we’re building technology that allows humans and machines to see the world like never before. We bring together engineers, creators, and innovators who push the boundaries of what’s possible – from cutting-edge FPV systems to advanced Remote Reality solutions, and toward the next generation of robotics. And behind every great technology, there’s great organization.
We’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the end-to-end design strategy for our digital products.
In this role, you’ll bridge user research, business strategy, and high-fidelity visual design to build intuitive, scalable, and engaging web and mobile experiences across the Orqa ecosystem. Working closely with Product Managers and Engineers in a cross-functional squad, you won't just design how our products look—you’ll actively shape product strategy and help define what we build.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the end-to-end design process for product initiatives—from discovery and user flows to polished UI and final implementation
Help define, build, and scale our design system foundations, creating scalable components and interaction principles that ensure visual consistency across the Orqa ecosystem
Design intuitive, high-quality experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to prototype interactions and streamline implementation quality
Use user insights, product analytics, and rapid experimentation to inform design decisions and simplify complex product problems
Raise the quality bar through strong visual craft, interaction design, and meticulous attention to typography, spacing, and motion
Contribute directly to overall product strategy and mentor other designers through feedback, design reviews, and collaboration
WHAT WE EXPECT
5+ years of experience designing digital products in fast-moving product companies, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing excellent UX thinking and visual execution
Deep expertise in Figma (components, auto-layout, variables, interactive prototyping, and design systems)
Proven experience building, evolving, or scaling design systems in close collaboration with engineering teams
Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, systems-thinking, and mobile-first product design
High standards for interface details, visual craft, and the ability to turn complex technical challenges into intuitive user experiences
Confidence in communicating design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders in iterative product environments
Full fluency in English (both written and spoken)
NICE TO HAVE
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
Basic understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, React) and implementation constraints
Experience with product analytics, A/B testing, or data-informed product design
A passion for tech, FPV drones, robotics, or complex hardware-software ecosystems
