JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Create, simulate, and refine RF circuits and antennas that fulfill the demanding requirements of drone communications

  • Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate RF modules into drone systems and conduct laboratory and in-field tests utilizing spectrum/network

    analyzers and other RF test equipment

  • Analyze system performance, troubleshoot signal issues, and propose effective solutions to optimize link quality and minimize interference

  • Prepare detailed design specifications, test plans, and technical documentation for RF systems, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards

  • Stay informed on the latest RF technologies and industry standards (e.g., FCC, CE) to contribute to the advancement of our drone communications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in RF design, testing, and integration within wireless communication systems—experience in UAV or drone technology is highly desirable

  • Proficiency with RF simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, ADS) and PCB layout tools(e.g., KiCAD, Altium).

  • Solid understanding of RF components (e.g., amplifiers, mixers, antennas) and RF measurement techniques.

  • Familiarity with software-defined radios (SDR) and multi-band RF solutions is advantageous.

  • Experience with drone-specific challenges (e.g., low-latency communication, interference management) and any relevant certifications (BONUS)
