At Orqa, we’re building technology that allows humans and machines to see the world like never before. We bring together engineers, creators, and innovators who push the boundaries of what’s possible - from cutting-edge FPV systems to advanced Remote Reality solutions, and toward the next generation of robotics. And behind every great technology, there’s great organization.
We're looking for an RF Antenna Engineer to join our RF/Skunkworks team and help develop the communication systems behind reliable long-range control and data transmission for advanced robotic platforms.
In this role, you'll design, simulate, prototype, and optimize antenna systems across a wide range of frequencies, working closely with hardware, RF, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to bring innovative communication technologies from concept to production.
If you're passionate about RF engineering, antenna design, and solving complex wireless communication challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, airframe, and production teams to translate requirements into production-ready systems
Design, develop, and optimize single-band, multi-band, and antenna array solutions across frequencies ranging from hundreds of MHz to tens of GHz
Simulate and analyze antenna designs using industry-standard RF tools such as CST Studio, Ansys HFSS, or Keysight ADS
Prototype, test, and validate antenna designs to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability
Work closely with mechanical teams on antenna integration and tooling for mass production
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, simulation results, and validation reports
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a related field
2+ years of professional experience in antenna design and development
Proficiency with RF simulation tools such as CST Studio, HFSS, ADS, or similar
Experience using RF measurement equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), and related laboratory instruments
Strong understanding of antenna fundamentals, RF propagation, and wireless communication principles
Hands-on engineering mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability and willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced environment
Experience with antenna arrays, beamforming, or advanced RF systems
Experience working on UAV, drone, aerospace, robotics, or defense-related technologies
Familiarity with radar systems and radar-related technologies
Interest in FPV drones and emerging robotics technologies
