About Orqa FPV

Founded in 2018 in Croatia, Orqa has grown from a hardware consulting firm into one of Europe’s leading drone technology companies. We design and manufacture advanced FPV and unmanned systems used by enterprise, industrial, and defense clients worldwide. With fully vertically integrated operations — covering design, electronics, optics, firmware, software, and in-house manufacturing — we maintain complete control over quality, performance, and supply chain reliability. This allows us to iterate quickly, optimize every part of the system, and deliver products that meet demanding real-world requirements. Today, Orqa products are used in more than 50 countries, with over 100,000 units delivered in 2024. Our mission is to build the enabling technologies for the future of Remote Reality and set new standards in the aerial robotics industry.

At Orqa, we’re building technology that allows humans and machines to see the world like never before. We bring together engineers, creators, and innovators who push the boundaries of what’s possible - from cutting-edge FPV systems to advanced Remote Reality solutions, and toward the next generation of robotics.

As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet global regulatory standards and certification requirements. You’ll work closely with engineering, R&D, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle, contributing to compliance planning, documentation, testing, and certification processes to ensure our products are safe, compliant, and ready for market deployment.

  • Coordinate and communicate with certification bodies, laboratories, and external consultants

  • Monitor regulatory updates and emerging standards, ensuring internal processes and documentation remain compliant

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance requirements into design and development processes

  • Support certification timelines and ensure smooth execution of certification activities across product lines

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, certification, or a related technical/compliance role

  • Solid understanding of compliance documentation, certification procedures, and product testing processes

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with internal engineering teams and external partners

  • Detail-oriented, structured approach with a proactive mindset

  • Ability to keep pace with evolving regulations and apply them to real-world engineering contexts

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

  • Experience working with certification frameworks such as CE, FCC, UKCA or similar

  • Experience working in hardware, electronics, telecommunications, aerospace, defense, or a similar technical industry is preferred
