About Orqa FPV

Founded in 2018 in Croatia, Orqa has grown from a hardware consulting firm into one of Europe’s leading drone technology companies. We design and manufacture advanced FPV and unmanned systems used by enterprise, industrial, and defense clients worldwide. With fully vertically integrated operations — covering design, electronics, optics, firmware, software, and in-house manufacturing — we maintain complete control over quality, performance, and supply chain reliability. This allows us to iterate quickly, optimize every part of the system, and deliver products that meet demanding real-world requirements. Today, Orqa products are used in more than 50 countries, with over 100,000 units delivered in 2024. Our mission is to build the enabling technologies for the future of Remote Reality and set new standards in the aerial robotics industry.

At Orqa, we’re building technology that allows humans and machines to see the world like never before. We bring together engineers, creators, and innovators who push the boundaries of what’s possible – from cutting-edge FPV systems to advanced Remote Reality solutions, and toward the next generation of robotics. And behind every great technology, there’s great organization.

This position is based in Osijek, with employment through Orqa GC, an affiliated company of Orqa.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control & QA Specialist (m/f) to establish, supervise, and execute rigorous quality control standards across all production phases — from incoming raw component inspection to final validation of assembled devices.

You'll oversee end-to-end product quality—from incoming component inspection and in-process assembly standards to root-cause analysis and final device validation—while ensuring every unit meets our highest performance and reliability requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC) on electronic and mechanical components according to technical drawings, specifications, and measurement protocols

  • Oversee In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), inspecting soldering standards, torque specifications, and mechanical assembly geometry

  • Monitor testing station metrics such as First Pass Yield (FPY), logging and analyzing root causes for rework and scrap

  • Issue, track, and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) while driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA, 5-Why, Ishikawa/Fishbone diagrams)

  • Oversee calibration schedules and verify measurement accuracy for testing instruments, tools, and test rigs

  • Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations, fire protection guidelines, and internal safety procedures

  • Carry out related quality and operational tasks as assigned by the department lead

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline

  • Minimum of 2 years of proven hands-on QA/QC experience within electronics assembly or mechatronics manufacturing

  • Solid knowledge of industrial quality standards (IPC-A-610 certification or familiarity is a strong advantage)

  • Practical proficiency with precision measuring and test instruments (calipers, micrometers, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes)

  • Demonstrated experience with structured root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (CAPA, 5-Why, Ishikawa)

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing traceability platforms

  • Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken
