About Orqa FPV

Founded in 2018 in Croatia, Orqa has grown from a hardware consulting firm into one of Europe’s leading drone technology companies. We design and manufacture advanced FPV and unmanned systems used by enterprise, industrial, and defense clients worldwide. With fully vertically integrated operations — covering design, electronics, optics, firmware, software, and in-house manufacturing — we maintain complete control over quality, performance, and supply chain reliability. This allows us to iterate quickly, optimize every part of the system, and deliver products that meet demanding real-world requirements. Today, Orqa products are used in more than 50 countries, with over 100,000 units delivered in 2024. Our mission is to build the enabling technologies for the future of Remote Reality and set new standards in the aerial robotics industry.

At Orqa, we’re building technology that allows humans and machines to see the world like never before. We bring together engineers, creators, and innovators who push the boundaries of what’s possible - from cutting-edge FPV systems to advanced Remote Reality solutions, and toward the next generation of robotics.

As a Project Manager, you will work at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and product strategy — collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality hardware products from initial R&D through to full-scale production, ensuring all technical solutions meet rigorous standards and deadlines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Act as the central point of coordination between Product Owners (PO), Lead Engineers, R&D teams, and manufacturing specialists

  • Manage the entire development lifecycle within assigned segments, ensuring a smooth transition from R&D to full-scale production

  • Maintain strict control over hardware-specific projects to ensure final prototypes and production series meet all hardware and product quality standards

  • Align technical solutions with predefined deadlines, budget allocations, and manufacturing plant capacities

  • Utilize ClickUp for detailed task planning, multidisciplinary team synchronization, and progress tracking

  • Identify and eliminate communication gaps and "roadblocks" between the engineering department and the production facility

  • Ensure that engineering outputs are feasible for manufacturing and consistent with the overarching product vision

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • 3–5 years of project management experience, with a specific focus on leading hardware development projects

  • Deep understanding of working within diverse teams (R&D, engineering, and manufacturing) and the ability to mediate between key stakeholders like Product Owners and Lead Engineers

  • Strong technical background and "literacy" to effectively understand and navigate complex hardware challenges

  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record of managing timelines, resources, and technical documentation

  • Ability to proactively manage and resolve conflicts within a team to maintain momentum and a positive working environment

  • A hands-on approach to tracking development progress, ensuring every team member—from R&D to the production floor—has clear instructions and the necessary resources

  • Strong ability to bridge the gap between high-level product goals and technical execution, ensuring alignment across all departments
