At Orqa, we’re building technology that allows humans and machines to see the world like never before. We bring together engineers, creators, and innovators who push the boundaries of what’s possible - from cutting-edge FPV systems to advanced Remote Reality solutions, and toward the next generation of robotics. And behind every great technology, there’s great organization.
As our products, engineering teams, and production operations continue to scale, managing released product data accurately and consistently becomes increasingly critical.
We are looking for a PLM & Engineering Data Management Specialist who will help ensure that product structures, BOMs, revisions, releases, and engineering changes remain accurate, connected, and reliable across the organization.
This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, ERP, and Production. Your work will directly affect how products move from engineering development into manufacturing and operational use.
We are looking for someone who understands engineering environments, structured product data, and the importance of reliable released information in fast-moving hardware development and manufacturing operations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Manage and maintain engineering BOM structures and released product data
Ensure engineering items, part numbers, revisions, and metadata are accurate and properly controlled
Support synchronization and consistency between PLM and ERP systems
Help ensure released engineering data is complete, structured, and usable by Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Production teams
Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicate parts, missing information, and BOM issues
Support engineering release and change management processes
Work closely with mechanical, electronics, firmware, manufacturing, and operations teams
Help improve scalability, clarity, and reliability of engineering data workflows
Ensure released drawings, documentation, firmware, software, and related files are properly connected to relevant items and assemblies
Support continuous improvement of engineering data quality and system usage
Experience working with PLM, ERP, or engineering data management systems
Understanding of BOM structures, engineering releases, and revision control
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work across engineering and operational teams
Structured and analytical mindset with strong ownership mentality
Comfortable working in a fast-moving engineering environment
Experience in hardware, electronics, manufacturing, or product development environments
Experience with CAD, ECAD, MES, Jira, Git, or related engineering systems
Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain workflows
Experience supporting PLM-to-ERP synchronization or engineering change processes
Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Familiarity with released product data management and product lifecycle workflows
