We're looking for a meticulous and driven PCB Librarian & Component Engineer to join our hardware team. You will be the foundation of our electronic design process, ensuring our engineers have the right components to build the future of drone components.

As a PCB Librarian and Component Engineer, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our electronic design foundation by managing the creation and maintenance of all component models (schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D models) - including datasheet verification, lifecycle management, and compliance checks - and by carefully reviewing all documentation.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Work with electrical engineers for symbol customization to meet schematic needs

  • Review manufacturers' data sheets to gather component-specific requirements

  • Create circuit symbols to be used in Altium schematics following standard guidelines

  • Create PCB component footprints following IPC standards

  • Participate in the review and release process of symbols and footprints

  • Mate 3D model to 2D footprint

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • PCB CAD experience

  • Experience with library configuration and management

  • General knowledge of component types

  • Capability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and technical datasheets

  • Basic Knowledge of IPC requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
