We’re looking for a Test Developer (Embedded Systems & OS) to build, maintain, and scale automated testing environments for our embedded Linux systems and proprietary hardware platforms.

In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of embedded software, Linux OS internals, and automated hardware validation. Collaborating closely with embedded developers and hardware engineers, you will design robust Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups, write C/C++ and Python test suites, and integrate automated test pipelines into our CI/CD workflows to ensure maximum system reliability.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and maintain automated testing environments for embedded Linux systems across Orqa's hardware products

• Write robust scripts and automated test scenarios using C/C++ and Python

• Work closely with Linux OS internals, custom drivers, BSPs, and build systems like Yocto and Buildroot

• Set up, execute, and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing rigs and validation suites

• Integrate and maintain automated hardware testing within continuous integration and deployment pipelines (CI/CD hardware pipelines)

• Collaborate with hardware and embedded software engineering teams to identify defects early and ensure high product stability

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical field

• Proven experience in automated testing for embedded Linux environments

• Advanced proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages

• Solid understanding of Linux OS architecture and internals (device drivers, BSPs, Yocto / Buildroot)

• Hands-on experience setting up and executing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing

• Practical experience integrating hardware test suites into CI/CD pipelines

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with full working proficiency in English
