As a Linux Kernel Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain the low-level drivers, APIs, and communication protocols (such as SPI, I2C, UART, and CAN) that enable our hardware to function, ensuring system stability, performance, and the seamless integration of new devices from the initial concept through to final deployment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Design, develop, and maintain Linux drivers, user-space APPs, libraries and APIs
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate and test new devices and systems
Conduct debugging and troubleshooting
Working with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN
Participate in the full software development life cycle from concept to deployment, ensuring quality at every stage
WHAT WE EXPECT:
1+ years of experience in Linux OS and embedded Linux development
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++
Experience with Linux kernel drivers, u-boot and device trees
Familiarity with communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, CAN
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with experience using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, reading data-sheets and schematics
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
