We're looking for a Head of IT & Business Systems to lead our IT operations and business systems, ensuring that Orqa's technology environment supports both day-to-day operations and continued growth.
You'll take ownership of IT infrastructure, operations, and user support, while also overseeing business systems, including ERP, internal applications, and system integrations. Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, workplace technology, and core IT services.
Establish and continuously improve IT processes, policies, documentation, service levels, and user support, including incident, problem, and change management.
Oversee business systems, including ERP administration, internal applications, system implementations, integrations, upgrades, and ongoing improvements.
Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize system improvements, and coordinate internal application development and integrations.
Manage IT vendors, external partners, contracts, licenses, procurement, capacity planning, and budget.
Collaborate with Cybersecurity on access management, security controls, compliance, risk mitigation, business continuity, backup, disaster recovery, and IT resilience.
Build and develop the team through hiring, mentoring, role definition, and performance management, while keeping leadership informed of IT priorities, risks, performance, and investment needs.
7+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, enterprise/business systems, or a related field.
Previous experience leading an IT team or function, including coordinating people, priorities, and technical initiatives.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, workplace technologies, cloud environments, identity and access management, and system administration.
Experience with business applications and enterprise systems, such as ERP, HRIS, CRM, MES, or similar platforms.
Understanding of business systems management, internal application development, and system integrations, including APIs.
Experience managing system implementations, integrations, migrations, or major technology projects.
Strong experience in vendor management, contracts, licensing, and IT procurement.
Good understanding of IT security principles, business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery.
Ability to balance operational priorities with long-term planning, combined with strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
