About Orqa FPV

Founded in 2018 in Croatia, Orqa has grown from a hardware consulting firm into one of Europe’s leading drone technology companies. We design and manufacture advanced FPV and unmanned systems used by enterprise, industrial, and defense clients worldwide. With fully vertically integrated operations — covering design, electronics, optics, firmware, software, and in-house manufacturing — we maintain complete control over quality, performance, and supply chain reliability. This allows us to iterate quickly, optimize every part of the system, and deliver products that meet demanding real-world requirements. Today, Orqa products are used in more than 50 countries, with over 100,000 units delivered in 2024. Our mission is to build the enabling technologies for the future of Remote Reality and set new standards in the aerial robotics industry.

At Orqa, we’re building technology that allows humans and machines to see the world like never before. We bring together engineers, creators, and innovators who push the boundaries of what’s possible - from cutting-edge FPV systems to advanced Remote Reality solutions, and toward the next generation of robotics.

We’re looking for a hands-on Drone Technician with strong experience in assembly, configuration, and maintenance of FPV systems, and a problem-solving mindset for diagnosing complex hardware and software issues. You’ll play a key role in supporting the development, testing, and real-world deployment of our drone systems.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Drone Assembly and Configuration

  • Assemble, build, and customize Orqa drones

  • Configure flight controller firmware (Betaflight, iNav, ArduPilot, PX4)

  • Fine-tune drone components including ESCs, motors, propellers, and cameras

Drone Testing

  • Test drones, systems, and components in real-world and adverse conditions

  • Evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement

Software Management

  • Troubleshoot firmware and software-related issues across drone platforms

  • Maintain and manage flight logs and configurations

Drone Repair and Maintenance

  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning components

  • Repair damaged drones and replace parts

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • 2+ years of experience assembling and piloting FPV drones (long-range experience is a plus)

  • Solid understanding of electronics and RF systems

  • Soldering skills are required

  • Proficiency in Betaflight configuration

  • Experience with INAV, ArduPilot, or PX4 is a plus

  • Willingness to travel for demos and field testing
