We’re looking for a Team Lead – Autonomous Flight & AI to guide, grow, and technically direct our aerial robotics and autonomy engineering team.

In this role, you’ll operate at the strategic intersection of technical leadership, advanced flight stack architecture, and edge AI deployment. You will define the technical vision, manage day-to-day team execution, and lead the architecture of high-performance autonomy algorithms, sensor fusion systems, and edge ML models that power our next-generation autonomous platforms.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team specializing in aerial robotics, computer vision, and autonomous flight

• Define the team’s technical roadmap, organize workflows, and align engineering goals with overarching business strategies

• Architect, implement, and optimize flight control stacks (PX4, ArduPilot) and robotics middleware (ROS 2)

• Direct the deployment and optimization of machine learning (ML) models on edge compute hardware (NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT)

• Oversee the development of autonomy algorithms, navigation logic, and multi-sensor data fusion systems (sensor fusion)

• Drive technical excellence, establish code architecture standards, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration with hardware, RF, and product teams

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Master’s (Mag. ing.) or PhD (Dr. sc.) in Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or AI/ML

• 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams within aerial robotics, autonomous systems, or mobile robotics

• Advanced proficiency in open-source flight stacks (PX4, ArduPilot) and robotics middleware (ROS 2)

• Proven track record in deploying and optimizing machine learning models on edge compute hardware (NVIDIA Jetson, TensorRT)

• Deep theoretical and practical foundation in robotics autonomy, Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), and sensor fusion techniques

• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and technical communication skills with full professional proficiency in English
